This kit is used for rapid and efficient extraction of plasmid DNA from < 15 mL of bacterial solution with a maximum yield of 60 µg. This product can be matched with multiple automated nucleic acid extractors, such as AllshengAuto-Pure20A. A reversible adsorption system using magnetic beads to plasmid DNA allows efficient binding of DNA and magnetic beads, while proteins and other contaminants are removed under certain conditions. Nucleic acids are readily eluted with sterile water or elution buffer. The endotoxin-free (EZgene ™ EndoFree) system uses a specially formulated buffer to remove endotoxin from bacterial lysate. Purified plasmid endotoxin levels were < 10 EU/µg endotoxin. Purified endotoxin-free DNA can be used for various downstream applications, such as transfection of endotoxin-sensitive cell lines, primary cultured cells, or microinjection.
